Meizu Pro 6 shows up in a hands-on video: 3D Touch is gone

Although the upcoming Meizu new phone has been confirmed to be Meizu M3 Note, the one leaked most recently is still the Meizu Pro 6. As the high-end flagship of the company, it seems quite natural Meizu Pro 6 is so popular. Earlier before, Meizu Flyme general designer revealed that Meizu Pro 6 would use the new interaction mode. From the leaked screenshot, this new interaction mode is similar to the 3D Touch of
Apple. So many of us though Meizu Pro 6 would support Force Touch technology. However, according to the hands-on video of the phone leaked, Meizu Pro 6’s 3D Touch seemed to be removed already.

Yesterday afternoon, a hands-on video of suspected Meizu Pro 6 was leaked on line. The man held it in the
video said that in the newest firmware, 3D Touch function was gone.

Besides, he also revealed the reason why 3D Touch function is eliminated is that its process is pretty
difficult. If they force it to realize, it could be quasi-Huawei’s one-level Force Touch, hard to make the
Apple 3D Touch effect come true.

Meizu Pro 6 was confirmed to sport Helio X25 Deca-core processor and mTouch Fingerprint ID. A 4.6 inch display with 1080p resolution, Flyme 6.0 OS, Quick Charge, USB Type-C and so on will also be expected.

For the time being, 3D Touch has not become the trend on smartphones and most of us think it’ll do as well if there is no such function. Plus, the technology is really hard to apply. What do you think of the Pro 6 now, without 3D Touch?
