The first TencentOS 2.0 phone will be made by InFocus, coming on May 30

Yesterday afternoon, Tencent released an announcement in TencentOS official forum, claimed that they would stop TencentOS 2.0 phone’s adaptation and also revealed TencentOS 2.0 phone would be coming soon. This morning, latest news leaked that The first TencentOS 2.0 phone will be made by InFocus.

Now, TencentOS official website has already appeared a page of its partner, the page is directly linked to
InFocus’ official site. The poster on the front page shows that InFocus will launch a new smartphone on May 30 and it will be running on TencentOS 2.0.

About this new device, we can know from the poster that it uses three-part design and the body is metal
material. Its Fingerprint ID module is at the back of the phone. As for more detailed information, it did not
reveal on the site.

TencentOS was released last year and officially opened test at the end of 2015. At that time, many smartphones has made adaptation, including Xiaomi, Samsung, Huawei, Lenovo and so on. As for InFocus, it was built in 1986 in America and partner-shipped with Foxconn to enter the smartphone market in 2013. But the brand wasn’t that famous in the industry.
