Create Landing Pages, Squeeze Pages and Call to Action to your blog retain and sell to your visitors. Capture emails and sell more to your blog.
Use plugins to convert your visitors and engage your audience directly. There are several ways to retain visitors to your blog, especially with Landing Pages, Squeeze Pages and Call to Action. If you do not know what it is, it’s time to review your actions as a blogger.
I selected some free plugins for WordPress.ORG that will help you when creating pages and widgets on your blog for your readers loyalty. You can do this by generating subscribers to an email list (for E-mail Marketing), causing them to click on a button to get an offer or product that you are selling / displaying or even to other your blog content.
First, some definitions to help those who do not know well what we mean:
Landing Pages – are pages on your blog or site made to receive the visitor with a clear objective (may be selling something, make an offer …). As the name says, it is the page where you want the visitor to stop (land). Normally this model is used to capture e-mails or to sell products / services.
Squeeze Page – This model is like a funnel. They are the pages created for a sale, but they have more options in where visitors can “go out”. Example: the visitor comes to the page where it is offered one info-product. He can click to buy (if felt convinced) and can subscribe to a list to receive more information or extra content that will keep you interested in the offer. Every step the visitor is taken, the sales funnel is being closed. As the name says, the idea is to squeeze the visitor to a desired action.
Call to Action – is the name given to the buttons or forms that lead the visitor to make a move to get something in return. This is the famous “click here to learn more.” The main objective of this type of action is to retain the visitor in a list of e-mails or social network. Later that loyalty will be used to take this visitor to a Landing Page or Squeeze Page.
The list will be very objective and it will be up to you to test to find out which is best for your needs. I did my tests and each plugin here can be used in different ways. Another point that should be highlighted is that not everything works well in all kinds of layout. That is, you can not get too cute depending on the color set. So, make your own tests.
